Launched on May 18, 2012, Kompsat-3 (Korean Multipurpose Satellite), is an optical high-resolution observation mission of KARI (Korea Aerospace Research Institute). It collects data in the afternoon at 13:30 and has the highest bits (14) per pixel to provide better performance for spectral analysis.
