A selection of Earth resources satellite images acquired by China Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station

This gorgeous volume includes 60 spectacular satellite images selected from among thousands of images acquired by China Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station over the past ten years. Apart from ten images covering areas in Korea, Japan, Russia and Vietnam, all the others show different parts of China. The vast majority of the images is Landsat TM. There are also examples of images acquired by ERS-2 and RADARSAT.

1. The book is published in a large format of 260 mm x 360 mm (101/4"x141/4").
2. Images are presented in large size, some of them up to 51 cm x 35.5cm (20"x14") on spread pages.
3. The images have been created by different band combinations to highlight the characteristics of a particular area.
4. Features are brought out sharply and vividly by enhancement techniques.
5. Each image is accompanied by clear notation of band combination, type of sensor, date of acquisition, and concise description.
