Below are the product requirements for each product category for both TerrSet and the Land Change Modeler for ArcGIS extension.
The General license is intended for users in the non-profit, government and commercial sectors. To serve General licenses concurrently, see Concurrent Licensing below.
Faculty and staff at accredited educational institutions can purchase Clark Labs’ products at low educational prices. Educational software licenses may not be used for commercial purposes. Clark Labs requires academic validation.
Students registered at accredited educational institutions may purchase our products at a low student price. The full Student license is fully-functioning and perpetual. Clark Labs requires proof of student status for the current semester.
Students registered at accredited educational institutions may purchase a one-year version of our products at a low student price. The Student Starter license is fully-functioning but times out one year from installation. Clark Labs requires proof of student status for the current semester.
Multi-seat licenses are server installation only. The purchase of a multi-seat license requires a signed license agreement.
This option allows for simultaneous use of the software on up to 15 machines for student use only. There is no annual maintenance fee; you pay for the upgrades as desired.
The perpetual Campus License allows for unlimited single campus use by both staff and students on institutionally-owned computers. Students attending an institution with a Campus License are eligible to purchase personal stand-alone Student Starter one-year licenses for $39. This license does not require annual renewal. Updates must be purchased, as desired. Student Starter licenses must be purchased separately by the students.
The Campus Maintenance License is similar to the Campus License but must be renewed annually. It allows for a reduced initial start-up cost. Like the Campus License, it allows for unlimited single campus use by both staff and students on institutionally-owned computers. Students attending an institution with a campus-wide license are eligible to purchase personal stand-alone Student Starter one-year licenses for $39. The license must be renewed annually for its continued use. Student Starter licenses must be purchased separately by the students.
You can purchase the capability to serve your General licenses concurrently for $500. With a concurrent license, you can serve and run concurrently as many clients as you have General licenses.
